Berlin 2009. Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall which I photographed in 1989 for the Independent Newspaper I returned to photograph the changes that have happened over the past 20 years..Potsdamer Platz with Leipziger Platz off to the right and in the former eastern sector. The WALL ran across Potsdamer Platz . The photograph is taken from the former Western side..The buildings are: L-R Beisheim Centre and Hotel Ritz-Carlton by Hilmer and Sattler, 2004.
