Berlin 2009. Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall which I photographed in 1989 for the Independent Newspaper I returned to photograph the changes that have happened over the past 20 years..Young Berliners enjoy their music and space, looking like fashion from the 1960's..The former death strip at Bernauer Strasse and Eberswalder Strasse. It was here on the night of 9th November 1989 that I photographed the first breech in the wall.
