The streets of Leipzig, Saxony, in former East Germany photographed in the week following the fall of the Wall in Berlin, November 1989. Every Monday evening up to and after the fall of the wall thousands of residents of Leipzig marched and protested their freedom after meeting at the St Nicholas Church. On this evening feeling confident three days after the fall of the wall in Berlin the residents lit candles outside the Stassi secret Ploice HQ.
