The small town of Thaxted lies in North Essex, England and was said by the poet John Betjamin 'That very few towns in England have the beauty, compactness and juxtaposition of mediaeval and Georgian architcecture that the town of Thaxted has'. Gustav Holst composed part of the planets suit here and the Morris Ring was re-established here in the 1920's by the Rev. Conrad Noel.
